the duality of me!
Hi, I'm Pixie and an artist from the Isle of Wight (originally Scotland) my journey on becoming an artist has been a bit of a long one, starting after high school into a GNVQ in Art & Design hoping to follow on from there that idea was put on hold as life led me a different way.

Trying my best to live with the ideology of its never too late to do what you love, after spending 7 years living off grid in the west coast highland's of Scotland I returned to the south of England and enrolled myself back at college to study photography, although that was not the sum of my ambition it was just to fill a space in my skillset I felt was lacking.
Photography plays a big part in my practice as an artist and although at the time I knew how to operate a camera I did not know how to edit photographs, this was also the launching point for finally achieving my plan of studying art at university.

My art practice is split into two on one side is my digital creations (a series of characters designed with being printed in mind) and on the other side is my more fine art practice. One works under the moniker of LunarPix (a play on my name) and the other side as myself. This way I can both be the strange and bizarre and still have a professional face to present my more serious works and my work as a photographer.
